My name is Marisa Denise Aceves. I'm an abstract multimedia artist and proud Texan that loves to find the extraordinary in the ordinary. The artwork I produce is about transformation and storytelling. Through the medium of photography, I aim to encourage others to think "outside the box" and "explore the possibilities". Few people appreciate the beauty and the wonder that surrounds them. There are many things in our lives that compete for our attention. Stress caused by the days' and weeks' demands leaves us with little time to seek the things that we enjoy or perhaps that inspire us. We often forget that sometimes, inspiration is even closer than our backyards. It may lie within our stove or coffee cup or the wad of paper we hastily threw away at the office.
